To achieve this, we examined both internal and external factors that would affect the design. Our primary goal was to optimize the building dimensions while maintaining uninterrupted views towards the site surroundings and maximizing the area and light provided for each space. The house’s dominant features are the roof garden and double-height ceilings in the common areas, which add elegance to the well-planned building.
The building is divided into two zones based on occupancy and usage. The design creates a hierarchy of spaces that transition from more private living areas to semi-public spaces that link to the backyard, taking into account function, climate orientation, and views. The planning of the vacation house is clear, with a central gallery on the southwest corner setting up smaller-scaled responses.
