WHITE ROCK CONDO

Project: Residential Multi Family — Remodeling, Interior Design
Location: Vidal street, White Rock, BC
Description:
This interior remodeling project encompasses a vibrant design for a condo unit in a seaside neighborhood just a block from the beach. The design has focused on creating a sleek and contemporary space to simultaneously experience seaside tranquility and bustling city life.
We changed the layout of the apartment to fulfill the client’s wish for a two-bedroom space, which initially had only one bedroom and a den. We opted for an open floor plan, integrating the kitchen, living area, and dining room into a seamless, attractive unit. The den has been expanded to function as a second bedroom, and to enhance the natural lighting in the space, a window has been added to allow light to flow from the adjacent living area, giving a brighter and more spacious feel to the bedroom. The addition of a fireplace and a wood mantel into a white color scheme enhances the cozy feel of the space.

The kitchen with the white quartz countertop and glossy white cabinets provides ample space for food prep and entertaining. For a more relaxing atmosphere that brings the outdoors in, the design incorporates a blend of gold and wood elements. The gold floor lamp adds a touch of warmth and serves as a decorative accent, while the wood plank laminate flooring brings a natural and earthy feel to the space.
Featuring high-end materials and modern design elements, the luxurious and functional bathroom includes a spacious walk-in shower with floor-to-ceiling large-format porcelain tiles in a monochrome color scheme, which creates a modern and unique look.
Floating vanities with white quartz countertops in combination with brass fixtures provide a touch of glamour and an inviting feel to the space. The double sink countertop provides more space which suits the couples. The use of full-length mirrors on chevron tiles will add depth to the space and create the illusion of a larger bathroom.
